Wishes & More is a Minnesota born organization and our programming involves three areas of giving – Wishes, Scholarships and Memorials.  Children up to age 19 who are struggling with a terminal or life-threatening condition are eligible for our services and we stand apart in numerous ways from other children’s charities in the area. 

1.        Our president serves in a volunteer capacity and she and other board members have extensive experience in wish-granting. 

2.       We stand out by expanding our age group from birth to the 19th birthday. 

3.       We stand out by giving a Scholarship of Hope® to each wish recipient which is a promised grant of $1,000 to each wish kid who battles their condition and goes on to any accredited higher education beyond high school. 

4.       We stand out, and stand alone, in another very critical area and that is by providing a cash grant of $1,000 to the surviving parents of a child who did not benefit from receiving a wish through our Memorial program. 

5.       We stand alone by reviewing each and every wish request as a board and not having a bias against wishes involving hunting, fishing, recreational equipment such as snowmobiles and ATV’s.
