War Dogs Making It Home is a two-year program of service dog training and ongoing group support at no cost to the veteran. By pairing veterans with rescue dogs they help train to be their service dogs, they are able to better manage the invisible and lifelong challenges of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury (PTSD/TBI) post deployment.  Every service dog becomes their veteran’s “four legged life-line,” their partner in the daily struggle to regain confidence, reconnect with loved ones, and resume activities in their communities. “The vet saves the dog, and the dog saves the vet.”
