Founded in 2006, Urban Sustain, a 501(c) (3) c nonprofit organization, aims to equip the next generation with the tools to live in a healthy inner-city environment in which the children are prepared to stand up for a better community through environmental stewardship. Urban Sustain believes that if people come together through conversation and engagement in stewardship practices that it will create a sense of belonging, strengthen people’s trust in each other, and cultivate a general sense of well-being.  Urban Sustain is dedicated to providing quality programming for youth to guide them to conserve, manage, monitor, advocate and educate others about unknown environmental hazards in their community.
