The 2010 season has started and so too have our plans for fundraising.  We're pleased to be a part this highly innovative, new charity venue:  Tix4Cause.  We believe that our member families, their friends and work associates will make our relationship with Tix4Cause extremely successful with regular, on-going ticket donations throughout the year. TYF is happy to announce that our 2010 member roster has grown considerably from last year; however, the need for financial assistance is disproportionately greater. From day one, TYF has welcomed all who want to participate; correspondingly, every year we’ve given need-based scholarships to fund all or some of the costs associated with membership.  We’ve helped to enable participation in our football and cheer programs, offsetting financial burdens due to job loss, divorce, health problems, and foster parenting.Consistent with our practice of inclusiveness is our commitment to community service and good will. Beginning in 2007, TYF has a “football fellowship” with Chicago Heights’ Panthers.  Against countless odds, the volunteer leaders of this organization have brought boys and girls together in sport to develop valuable skill sets, instill drive and hope and to have fun.This year we aim to collect sufficient funds to provide team jerseys and to help with the Panthers’ membership dues to our parent organization, American Youth Football.
