Dreams Fulfilled Through Music evolved from the dream of Kathryn Archuleta as she completed her Senior Girl Scout Gold Award in the spring of 1999.The Alamo Angels Accordion Orchestra, comprised of students with special challenges and senior citizens who serve as mentors, is the only performing organization of its type in the world.Handchime Ensembles are offered for mentally challenged adults and are available for Senior Retirement Communities as well.One of the most important elements in our teaching program is that individual education plans are developed for each private student, incorporating both musical and non-musical goals.In 2012, Dreams Fulfilled Through Music has added a series of professional development seminars for classroom music teachers at the elementary and secondary levels.  Artistic Director, Mary Kathryn Archuleta also provides Guest Lectures on "Teaching Music to Special Needs Students in the Mainstreamed Music Classroom"  and related topics for area colleges and universities.
