Aid for Women helps thousands of women each year in the Chicago metropolitan area who find themselves facing unexpected and difficult pregnancies. Each woman is provided with the emotional, practical and spiritual support she needs to choose life for her unborn baby and to provide a better future for her and her children. Aid for Women operates six pregnancy help centers and two residential programs located in the Chicago Loop, Wicker Park, Back of the Yards, Portage Park and in suburban Cicero and Des Plaines. All our services our offered free-of-charge and include confidential counseling, medical services, support groups, mentor program, material aid, housing programs and referrals to community partners.
